Contacting companies

I had a great letter in my mailbox this week from Welch's. I had purchased a box of their fruit snacks from Costco, about 5-7 bags either were empty or only had 1 or 2 pieces of fruit in them. So I called the number on the box to let them know. Guess what they did? They sent me 3 coupons for FREE boxes of fruit snacks, 2 coupons for $.50 any product and $.75 off any juice. How nice! It took me no more than 3 minutes to make that phone call. I love when companies appreciate their customers!

Point of this post - contact companies. Not just to complain but to show your likeness for their products as well. I contacted Method (they make baby wash, laundry detergent, soap, etc) to let them know how much I liked their baby wash and asked if they ever send out coupons. Well they did, I received some within a week!

You can find most contact info on the companies website or packaging. Take a look and contact them, you don't know what you will get! :)

not really related: I just saw your posts, referred by twitter stuff,... anywho... did you know that you can get referral $ from the Dede coupon clipping site? Just look at the tab, referral program. There are a few stipulations.. and I would need you to send me the info they require in order to use you as a referral.. I have a gmail account: you can email me there using laurieintexas@ if you like.
