Ordering Coupons

I know some of you don't like to clip coupons! It can be time consuming, I agree. I like to 'buy' coupons from places such as Ebay and Coupons by Dede. I search for products we frequently use and have gotten some great deals. Now, ebay can get a tad expensive. I have found that Coupons by Dede has the best pricing. For just under $6 (that's the minimum amount required for purchase) I got 28 coupons which will breakdown has follows:

10 - Cottonelle toilet paper - this is going to allow me to get 10 4 packs for $1.90.

10 - Green Giant Fresh Steamers - this is going to get me 10 bags of fresh steamer vegetables for $0!

8 - Maybelline makeup - this will score me some free or very close to free makeup!

If you don't include the makeup, because the price varies and I will probably wait to use them on a b1g1 sale, for $5.10 I will get 40 rolls of toilet paper and 10 bags of veggies. I call that a great deal!

So for those of you who don't want to clip coupons, or want to buy a bulk amount I would try buying online!

Thank you to a reader who pointed out that Coupons be Dede offers a referral program! If you choose to purchase coupons through her site, at checkout please enter my name and email (lisa chakery/lisa@chakery.com) to help build referral bucks for me. THANK YOU!

Great deal on greetings cards!

Time to stock up on some greeting cards! Here is a coupon for 3 $.99 cards for $1! You will need to sign up for their Crown Rewards program in order to use this coupon. You can sign up online and print your card out to take with you.

Bath and Body Works - Great Deals!

BBW emailed this coupon to me today for a free lip product with any purchase. The Bargain Shopper Lady has this coupon for a free product (up to $13) with a $10 purchase on her site. If the store will allow you to use both coupons at the same time it can make for a great deal! Even one coupon at a time is great deal. Before the lip coupon came out I used the free product coupon and got a free wrapped basket with lotion, body wash and a loofah when I purchased 3 hand soaps! Great deal!

Card Cubby Review and Giveaway

I know you will love this product as much as I do! The Card Cubby was invented by mom, Wendy Krepak, and will organize your coupons, gift cards, rewards cards, business cards, shopper cards, and on and on. I have at least 30 or so different coupons and cards that I whip out and shuffle through like a big pack of playing cards when I would go shopping, so this has definitely helped me out.

card_cubby-6

Ok, so I admit, I am the girl in front of you who can never find my shopper loyalty card (yes, the one you roll your eyes at). These cards are from my purse; gift cards, rewards cards, coupons, whatever I collect I shove in the zipper part of my purse. I also tried the little see through pouches, but that never worked because the cards weren’t organized. I have been through countless plastic files that eventually crack and fall apart.

card_cubby-2

The Card Cubby measures just 5″ wide by 3″ high and can hold approximately 80 cards! You could even use it as a wallet, there is a clear pocket in the front where you can put Drivers License and inside you could put some cash, credit cards and even a cell phone would fit. It has the cool magnetic closure so you know your items are securely tucked away. You can take just your Card Cubby or it will easily fit in your purse with plenty of room to spare.

card_cubby-5

Now, you know I am a Diva to the Core and pink is my thing, some of you may want to match your coupon organizer to the color of your purse. You are in luck because the Card Cubby is available in eight different colors and designs. It is made of a soft, buttery material that is wipe-able and durable enought to stand up to all the use it will get. There is even a Wedding Edition Card Cubby which is available in simply silver (a very cute idea!).

card_cubby-4

Additionally, there are Kool Tools you can also purchase to go along with your Card Cubby like the Picopad or Mini Brag Book.

With the holidays just around the corner, I am thinking this would make the perfect gift for moms, grandmas, teachers, aunt, sisters, friends. The Card Cubby retails for $24.95 ($28.95 for the Caramel Leather). Guess What? Wendy is offering a 10% discount and FREE Shipping to anyone who orders by December 10th. Just use the code: CC209.

Free Batteries!

HERE is a coupon for $1.00 off Rayovac Alkaline batteries, these are at most Target stores in their dollar spot section (at the front of the store). Use the coupon to get free batteries - great for this time of year!

You can crop the image using the snapshot tool in adobe, and then paste just the actual coupon into word and put several on a page. I have done this, but can't figure out how to post the word doc into the blog, if you want the doc leave a comment with your email address and I will send it to you.

(thanks to lilacvi at AFC for finding this coupon!)

Feed It Forward

I got a great email from Restaurant.com today - below is what they sent. This is so awesome and will be such a blessing to many families!

Right now, many people wonder how the economy will impact their lives. Will people be able to give holiday gifts to everyone on their list? A down economy has the potential to do more than take gifts away from the deserving. A down economy has the potential to deprive people of one of the greatest gifts of all, the gift of giving.

The gift of giving lifts spirits, spreads joy, and strengthens community.
Restaurant.com is beginning the holiday season by launching a giving site - www.Restaurant.com/FeedItForward - stocked with $30 million in free restaurant gift certificates. You can pass on 3 Free $10 Restaurant.com gift certificates, every day until Christmas-as part of our initiative called, Feed It Forward™.

To give free gift certificates

To simplify your giving experience, use your Restaurant.com email and password when prompted to sign in.

So, please join us. Give to friends. Give to neighbors. Give to families in the military. Give to grandparents. Give to co-workers. Give to working moms. Give to those that would not otherwise make your holiday list, but most of all, give.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Restaurant.com

1 Lifestyle Oatmeal = free
2 Herbel Essences = free

Progresso Soup

Here is a great coupon for $1.10 off 1 can of Progresso Soup. Once the 1st coupon has printed you can click your back button in your web browser (you will get a page cannot be refreshed, but keep clicking and then the printer icon will appear again) to print your 2nd coupon. Combine this with the ecoupon over at Shortcuts for $.50 off 2 cans at Kroger and you will get $2.70 off 2 cans if you purchase them at Kroger!

Cellfire.com

CELLFIRE is similar to Shortcuts, you add ecoupons on to your Kroger card (and possibly other grocery stores in other areas). The added bonus is if you have the application on your cell phone you can view a coupon code to show to a cashier to receive an instant discount at stores and restaurants. I recommend checking out their site and reading all about their service.

Both Cellfire and Shortcuts have duplicate coupons, such as $.50 off Cottonelle toilet paper at Kroger. So you can add both to your Kroger card and use a manufactuer coupon to get free or almost free toilet paper!

(For IPhone users, go to the App Store and you can download the Cellfire application for free - it is very user friendly!)

St. Ives Elements at Walgreens

Right now Walgreens has the St. Ives Elements line of facial cleaners on sale for $4.99 and each one (only 1 per transaction) produces a $5 Register Reward (good for your next purchase).

About a month ago there was a $2.50 off coupon in the Sunday paper and a couple of months ago there were Buy1Get1 coupons. If you don't have any of those you can go here and print a coupon for $2, making this deal a money maker! I personally like this line of facial cleaners, so it's a great deal for me!

This promotion ends Saturday, October 25th.

Great CVS Trip - free diapers!

I am so happy over my CVS trip tonight, I got 6 packages of Huggies diapers for ZERO dollars! Everything in this picture 'cost' me $4.85 in ExtraCare Bucks (I spent $64.71 in ecb's and earned $59.86 back in ecb's). What is even more fabulous is that I have mail in rebates for the men's hair color, for a total of $16.00. So in summary, I profited $11.15 (if you think of the extra care bucks as cash). I got paid to buy diapers! Woohoo!

Here's what I got:
6 packages of Huggies diapers
6 bottles of Apple Juice
3 Eucerin face cremes
4 2pk GUM toothbrushes
2 Touch of Gray men's haircolor
4 Pumpkin pails
4 Glowsticks

FYI - Kroger

Kroger:
*If you don't already have one, request a Kroger card. The advertised specials are only good if you use their card.
*Register your card at Shortcuts and P&G Esaver. At those 2 sites you can download ecoupons on to your Kroger card. What is so fabulous is that you can combine an ecoupon with a paper coupon, making some items free and even allowing overage!
*Kroger triples and doubles coupons - they will triple a coupon with a face value up to $.35 and double a coupon with a face value up to $.50.
*They will accept 4 like coupons per transaction, after that they only deduct the face value.

Quick Trips

I did a few quick shopping trips this past week. Below is what I purchased, I paid $1.42 for everything except the Robitussin. I paid $8.97 for the Robitussin and got back $30 to use on my next purchase. Summary: spent $10.31 received $30 in coupons for future use, total profit of $19.69!
